Holidays in the Alps

I’m jutst coming back from one week in the alps, not far from Bourg-Saint-Maurice.
The program was 2 days of hiking, climing, moutain bike and rafting.

I wanted to take more pics but it wasn’t very safe to bring my camera along with me during the activities.

Paris Manga Festival

We might be still in august, it’s already time to think about september. On the 11th and 12th of september we’ll hold a corner at the Paris Manga festival in Espace Champerret, Paris. This festival is not only about manga, it’s more like a meeting point for the fans of japanese culture.
So I painted a board to make our corner a little bit more visible.

A green week-end

It’s been a long I didn’t have few days to rest, as I were getting really tired I thought it was time to rest for a week-end.
I went to Ardennes, a land in north-west France at the belgian border, a place not really known for being a touristic area. But when going north from Charleville-Mézière it offers some really nice landscape to hike.

Provins

Yesterday I went to a medieval town at Seine et Marne, called Provins. Just for the records, this town is registered in the world’s patrimony of UNESCO. On the XII and XIII century, it was 1 of the biggest European commerce, and the golden age of faires and Counts of Champagne.
I went there to see the live creche of Christmas. This show is to retrace the life of Saint-François d’Assise, who accompanied his father, a rich Italian draper, to the faire of Champagne at Provins, which was made for the first time to represent the nativity in 1223 close to Greccio.
