Buffalo

I just started this new project, to draw the 12 chinese zodiac animals in sum-e. I start with the buffalo:
I already have the tiger, the horse and the cat, that means that I only have 8 left to draw.
Next one is the rat.
It’s been a while I didn’t post any sumi-e on the blog, so for the next comers, let me explain you what it is. In japanese “sumi” means “ink” and “e” means “drawing”. Both words put together means ink drawing.

Wolfs

This week-end I did again a wolf drawing, the same I made few months ago, which was a bit flat in my opinion. But because drawing the same wolf again was not really that fun, it did another one to make them play together (or fight).
Then a little Photoshop work to put themtogether.
Those who knows well about video games might have remembered the game Okami.

Dalmatian

I wanted to draw a dog since a while, but among all the different races it was pretty hard to make a decision. In the end i choosed the dalmatian for it “design” appearance.

A question of cat

Listening to wise ideas, i changed a little bit my playing cat drawing into a climbing cat, and i think it works pretty well on a Tshirt. so playing cat or climbing cat?

Japanese T-shirts

Today i made a Photoshop layout to put my drawings in situation on a Tshirt, to check if it look good or not, and set the position and the size.
Now two things left to do:
First call back the printing company to get a quotation.
Second, build the online shop (that scares me!).
