Expansion of Zanies to kids bedroom ! I decorated the furnished room by doing some mix and match of wall stickers, customized japanese lamp, and some paintings. Though … there’s still one more painting coming up soon … last but not least !
Now, here’s a story, the kid (almost two) for whom I decorated the room, refused to sleep in it, with all might ! But since Zanies’ arrival, I heard from her mom, that he likes to spend more time in his room now … touching the animals on the wall …

“Tanuki” means “racoon” in japanese. It’s part of japanese culture since centuries, as symbol of prosperity. We often see them as sculpture and figurines with a big belly and holding a sake gourd.
In japanese folklore, tanuki are master in disguising and can change shape as they want.
